Greg Keller, Vice Chair
Greg and his family have lived in Mueller since 2013 and have done their best to keep Mueller fun and weird. He was chair of the MNA Steering Committee two years ago and helped recover and reorganize MNA’s technical and nontechnical assets, including post COVID mayhem.
“We are the cotton candy house on Halloween, the ‘Train House’ for the end of year Festivus, and terrible slackers the rest of the year. We know parliamentary procedure better than most, which helps when things are contentious.”

Teresa Tambascia Szostak, Treasurer
Teresa didn’t find her way to Austin until she and her husband, Paul, moved here from Houston in 2000.
Teresa and Paul have happily called Mueller home since 2021. She is especially interested in neighborhood safety initiatives, interacting with neighbors, collaborating with area partners, and expanding on the good work already being done to make Mueller a diverse, inclusive and enjoyable place to call home.
Born and raised in a small (2,800 residents) farming community in Ohio, to parents who encouraged her and her brothers to get out and explore the world, she spent her adult life in Los Angeles and Houston before moving to Austin.
Teresa is active with the Central Texas Food Bank kitchen and Keep Austin Fed, and enjoys running, reading, college football, experimenting in the kitchen, spending time in the mountains, and exploring Austin with friends and family. She and Paul have two grown kids who both went to college outside of Texas and then (yea!) returned to Austin upon graduation.
Teresa has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University (Go, Bobcats!) and an MBA from the University of Houston (Go, Coogs!) and spent her career in corporate Human Resources, largely in the high-tech industry.

Chris “Kaz” Wojtewicz, Ex Officio
As a fifth-generation Austinite, Kaz Wojtewicz has a deep understanding of the angst change has brought to Austin and the need to work for the future we want. These changes, and managing change, inspired Kaz to study economics at Texas State University and public affairs at The University of Texas LBJ School of Public Affairs, where he specialized in real estate economics, zoning (history), and transportation.
A staunch believer in the maxim "leaders eat last," Kaz advocates for public leadership and government that serves all of society. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the public and private sectors, including the Texas Army National Guard and Army Reserves. He was on the boards of AURA, Friends of Austin Neighborhoods and NWACA.
Kaz lives with his wife, two daughters, in-laws, two cats, and a labrador. He enjoys biking, exploring the Austin food and beer scene, and spending time with friends and family.

Melanie McAfee
Melanie McAfee is a visionary artist who created the Artisan Ballroom at Barr Mansion 2 times! Once in 2000 and now again after a devastating fire that happened in June 2010. The main structure is a revolutionary era barn frame from New York that was built in 1820. Many local craftsmen have come together to showcase skills and green techniques rarely seen.
As an eco-entrepreneur, Melanie has developed Barr Mansion into a Zero Waste Facility. She served on the Long-Range Solid Waste Task Force to help move the City towards Zero Waste. Her passion and crown achievement is becoming the only certified organic events facility in the nation. She is a champion for the organic lifestyle in all areas of her life.
Melanie has been a long-time Austin activist active in local, state and national politics. Barr Mansion has hosted many political fundraisers for the progressive movement.
“I have the time, energy and desire to get involved and help my community. I have enjoyed going to the meetings and been inspired by all the new ideas, all the volunteers and potential of our ‘hood’. Running a special events venue, Barr Mansion for 40 years taught me how to work with employees and clients, manage problems that always come up and most importantly pursue my ‘real’ passion which is learning how to be as sustainable as possible. My two biggest accomplishments at Barr were achieving organic certification and zero waste.”
